The transfers are carried out by drivers who all hold a public carriage office licence (P.C.O.). They are chosen by Global Hosts for their friendliness, reliability and punctuality. The drivers will meet you at the arrival gate holding a board with your name on as you gave it to Global Hosts. They will have a copy of your host family name and address. They will give plenty of time for you to clear baggage and immigration controls. If they do not find you they will page you from the information desks and of course check with immigration and baggage control. If all else fails you can telephone Global Hosts who will ring the driver on a mobile number and arrange a meeting point for you.
DO NOT GO WITH THE DRIVER IF YOU ARE UNSURE ABOUT ANYTHING, CALL GLOBAL HOSTS ON THE MOBILE 07712183849; OR GET THE DRIVER TO CALL US AND WE WILL CHECK EVERYTHING.
The drivers will wait for 2 hours and 30 minutes after the flight has landed. If you are having problems with immigration or health please call Global Hosts and we can ask the driver to wait longer (this will incur a waiting charge that will have to be paid direct to the driver at the airport) or we can delay his arrival to the airport. You should look for the driver in the arrival area he will be holding a board with a globe on with the name Global Hosts.
